Admissions and pre-registration

Five steps from October to June. To get to know your child we look more at conversation than tests, more at curiosity than reports.

2026–2027 admissions calendar

  1. October – January

    Pre-registration form and campus visit

Once you complete the form, admissions calls you within two working days and suggests a visit time. On the visit you sit in on lessons and meet the head of section.

    • Student's year of birth and current grade
    • Parent's contact details
  2. November – February

    Assessment day

There is no test in primary; a play and reading session with a teacher. From Grade 5, there is an English placement and maths assessment. Results are used only for class placement and language support.

    • School reports from the last two years (shown at school)
    • Language test results, if any
  3. February – March

    Family meeting

A 40-minute meeting with the head of section and, where useful, the school counsellor. We talk about your child's interests, where they may need support and your expectations.

  4. March – April

    Offer letter and enrolment

Within two weeks of the offer letter, the enrolment contract is signed and the deposit paid. Documents needed for final enrolment are collected at school at this stage, with a separate privacy notice.

    • Identity document (Turkish ID or foreign ID number)
    • Vaccination card and school health form (at enrolment)
    • Equivalence certificate for students coming from abroad
  5. May – June

    Transition days

New students spend a June morning in their future class; families moving from abroad attend a "first week" session and are matched with a PTA family.

Pre-registration form

Once you complete the form, admissions calls you within two working days and suggests a visit or assessment day.

This form asks only for your name, contact details, your child's year of birth and the grade you are interested in. We do not ask for health information, ID numbers or photos; anything needed for final enrolment is collected at school, in person.

Questions about admissions

All questions

When do applications open?

The pre-registration form is open all year. Assessment days for the next school year run from November to February; if places remain, we also admit students over the summer.

Is there an entrance test for primary?

No. In Grades 1–4 your child spends a play and reading session with a teacher; the aim is to plan the class and any language support. From Grade 5 there is an English placement and maths assessment.

Why doesn't the form ask for my child's health information or ID number?

We do not need them at pre-registration. Documents needed for final enrolment are collected at school, in person, with a separate privacy notice. The form asks only for the parent's name, contact details, year of birth and grade of interest.
