No. In Grades 1–4 your child spends a play and reading session with a teacher; the aim is to plan the class and any language support. From Grade 5 there is an English placement and maths assessment.
We do not need them at pre-registration. Documents needed for final enrolment are collected at school, in person, with a separate privacy notice. The form asks only for the parent's name, contact details, year of birth and grade of interest.
The DP is a two-year programme that starts in Grade 11. It cannot be started in Grade 12; students joining in Grade 12 are placed on the MEB programme.
Yes. Turkish citizens follow the MEB programme on every path and receive the MEB diploma; those who take the IB Diploma Programme graduate with both. The double load is demanding; the decision is made together with the student, family and counsellor in the second term of Grade 10.
In primary there are two teachers per class and up to four extra hours of language support a week. In middle and high school an intensive English (EAL) group runs for a term depending on placement. B2 English or above is recommended to start the DP in Grade 11.
Tuition includes 10% VAT, textbooks and on-campus activities. Lunch and transport are charged separately. IB and Cambridge exam entry fees are set by those organisations and invoiced separately.
There is a 10% discount for the second child and 15% for the third. Tuition can be paid in 10 instalments from June to May; there is a 5% discount for payment in full.
Primary 08:30–15:40, middle school 08:10–15:50, high school 08:10–16:30. Clubs start at 15:50 and end between 17:00 and 17:30; the last buses leave at 17:45.
Meals are cooked daily in the on-campus kitchen. The menu is approved by the school dietitian and published weekly on the website. For students with allergies, individual plates are prepared based on the health form given at enrolment.
Only with written parental consent. Children of families who do not consent appear only with their faces not visible, or not at all. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Passport and residence permit (foreign ID number), school reports from the last two years and, for grades completed abroad, an equivalence certificate from the provincial or district education directorate. Admissions sends a written list for your situation and guides you through the equivalence application.
There are levelled "Turkish for foreigners" groups for international students. The obligations of non-Turkish students in MEB courses are set by regulation; we explain the details at the admissions meeting.
Yes, if there is a place. For children moving from abroad mid-term, each new student is paired with a student "buddy" in the first week and the tutor meets the family every week during the first month.
