Turkish national curriculum (MEB diploma)

Meridyen is made up of a private primary school, middle school and Anatolian high school under the Turkish Ministry of National Education (MEB). Turkish students follow the MEB programme for twelve years; the international programmes are built on top of it.

Under every path at Meridyen lies the MEB programme. Turkish students follow the Ministry's curriculum for twelve years, their grades are recorded in e-Okul and they receive the MEB diploma. The IB and Cambridge programmes are built on top of it, not instead of it.

LGS and YKS

For Grade 8 students who want to sit the LGS, a practice exam calendar and weekend study hours are planned; the LGS is not required to move to a private high school but can be used in scholarship decisions. High school students on the MEB-only path follow YKS-focused hours in Grades 11 and 12.

International students

Enrolment, equivalence and course exemptions for international students follow MEB regulations. Our admissions office sends families a written list of the documents they need before they apply.
