Grades 5–8. English, maths and science through Cambridge Lower Secondary; the MEB programme and LGS preparation on one calendar. A second foreign language starts in Grade 5.

In middle school every student has a tutor: each morning at 08:10 a tutor group of eleven meets to talk through the week, homework and friendships. Tutors also meet parents at least twice a term.

In Grade 5 students choose German, French or Spanish. In Grade 7 they prepare their first "personal project": a question, a product and a presentation.

By the end of this section

  • Cambridge Checkpoint level in English, maths and science
  • A2 level in a second foreign language
  • Research, referencing and presentation skills
  • MEB middle school outcomes and LGS preparation
